As the Koch Institute’s Director of Administration and Finance, Andreea oversees the financial, operational, and human resources functions of MIT’s cancer research center. This includes administration and oversight of the NCI Cancer Center Support Grant, pre- and post-award research grants, facilities, environmental health and safety, computing and technological support and infrastructure, and shared research resources. Andreea is an experienced administrator, having worked at MIT since 2004, excluding a five-year tenure in the academic affairs and the deputy director's offices of the Broad Institute. She is committed to the development of an inclusive and motivated workforce to execute the Koch Institute’s strategic goals in collaboration with the Koch Institute community and leadership and consultation with other MIT administrators.
